I did this December last year. Originally wanting to do a vehicular design in speedpaint, but I got too much into it and decided to polish it instead. This started off looking like a motorbike and as I further modified the general structure, it ended up ike this.

Done entirely in Photoshop 7 with a wacom pen. Spent many hours doing this since everything was started from scratch.
